Hi I am Shanan! I've been researching my family tree for nearly 17 years. I started when I was 18 but my interest goes back further than that. We used to have this family album with an end sheet that had a 4 generational family tree. It only had back to my great-grandparents. I remember thinking this is just not enough information. I also remember asking my mother about where my ancestors came from.

With now over 70,000 individuals in my database there is plenty of reasons to get your FREE User Account!

17 Oct 2011 - Recently upgraded TNG to version 8.1.3 and this theme is temporary as I am working on a custom theme.

Not all the information on these pages is authenticated as yet.... although I am working constantly at checking and recording sources. It is only as good as the information gathered from government records, church records, relatives, and online sources. With your free user account you will have access to my family tree data. I have not made this freely available online for several reasons. First of all it is a work in progress, secondly I do not wish for all the time and effort I have put into my research to be included in any compilation or commercial data collection and thirdly I like to know who I am sharing my research with.

The family tree database component of this site is powered by The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding by Darrin Lythgoe. The data is stored in multiple MySQL database tables and displayed using PHP Scripts.
